Your Next Stop Club started as an Instagram account and is becoming a guide. The idea is unchanged: when a friend asks where to eat, you do not send them a list of forty places. You send them one, and you tell them why.

So this is a short list, kept deliberately short. 3 cities, 38 places, 9 guides. Madrid is home and gets the most attention; Lisbon and Rome are the weekends a cheap Friday flight is for.

How the guide works

Everything says where it came from.
Each entry is marked as personally visited, researched from published sources, a sample used to show the format, or sponsored. The label is on the card and on the page.
Only a real visit counts as a recommendation.
"We've been" is a specific claim and we only make it when it is true. Right now almost nothing on the site carries it.
Paid placement is labelled above the fold.
Named sponsor, at the top of the piece, in the same size type as everything else.
We publish slowly.
A short list that is right is more useful than a long one that is guessed.
